Obituary for John Michael Buchinger, Sr.<\/p><\/div>\n

This is the obituary for John Michael Buchinger, Sr. It was published in The Saginaw News on March 25, 1914 on page 7.<\/p>\n

John Michael Buchinger, Sr is the 4th great-grandfather of my half-brother, Noah, on his maternal side.<\/p>\n

Buchinger – John Buchinger died at the home of his won, William, in Richville Monday night at 12 o’clock of cerebral hemorrhage.\u00c2\u00a0 He was a well known and highly respected farmer and had been a resident of Richville for 44 years.\u00c2\u00a0 He was born in Bavaria, Germany Aug. 17, 1834.\u00c2\u00a0 His wife died May 29, 1906.\u00c2\u00a0 He was a member of St. Michael’s Lutheran church.\u00c2\u00a0 He leaves five daughters and five sons, Mrs. William Reichenpack, Bay City; Mrs. George Werdick, Minneapolis, Minn.; Mrs. George Rogner, Mrs. Otto Buetow, and Mrs. C. Miller, all of Richville; George, John G., Mike and William all of Richville; 35 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.\u00c2\u00a0 The funeral will take place Friday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock from the home and at 2 from the Lutheran church.\u00c2\u00a0 Rev. Beckmeier of Richville will officiate and the burial will be in Richville Lutheran cemetery.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
