Anna Kozminska was born April 6, 1867 in Poland. Note that her headstone is inscribed with 1869 as her birth year. She married Joseph Dreffs in Poland sometime around 1887. They immigrated to the United States in late 1889, according to US Census and corresponding naturalization records.

The couple had eleven children: Martin, Ida, Nicck, Jennie, Vera, Mary C., Francis S., Walter Anthony, Paul A., Andrew S., and Casmer.

A certified copy of Marriage License received by the Saginaw County Clerks Office obtained by Jessica Green on August 30, 2000 for Andrew S. Dreffs and Stella Kryska states that Andrew’s father’s name is Joseph Dreffs, and his mother’s name is Annie Buzinski, instead of Anna Kozminska.

Anna died of dropsy on April 8, 1927 at the age of 60. She is buried next to her husband, Joseph, in Saginaw, Michigan.
