Fred Ozro Green was born May 24, 1882. His place of birth is unknown. Fred is the oldest of six children born to his parents: Abner Oakes Green (1832-1907) and Marion Dearborn Root (1861-1941). His parents were married on November 7, 1880.
Fred’s siblings were: Stephen Zit, Joe, Rachel Nell, Frances May, and John Louis.
Fred married Wava Cecil Campbell sometime around 1906. The couple had nine children together: Ernest Fred, Wilma Marian, Edna Harriet, Robert Henry, Virginia Maxine, Max Earl, Betty Marie, Helen Irene, and Donald Gene.
Fred passed away on December 9, 1961. He is buried with his wife at Kendall Cemetery in Kendall, Michigan.
