Well, that big box of photos had a short lived life at our house. It was taken away this evening with only a fraction of the precious photos scanned in. Long story… and one that I don’t feel like telling at the moment. My blood pressure is too high as it is.Â
We did manage to get a few critical images from the box, however. One of them, seen here, is grandpa Max Earl Green on his Navy ship during World War II. He was stationed in the South Pacific on the U.S.S. Mona Island.

The original photo is a polariod, no more than 1 inch high. Thank goodness for high resolution scanning.
